Shannon once again finds herself at a crossroads. With a decent amount of money from her job at the club, she may take the path she took before and use it irresponsibly, or she can take control of her life and make it better. She chooses the latter of the two. Shannon apologizes to Harley's family and agrees to find work AND go back to school if she can stay with them. They are happy to see this change and welcome her with open arms. Shannon deals with ignorance and intolerance for another year of high school, but eventually graduates and moves far away from the society she grew to hate. As a response, society mourns the loss of a great source of cannon fodder, but quickly recovers and moves on to another innocent victim.
